The information, techniques, methods, and recommendations by Mariann Sebestyen are not intended to substitute for the diagnosis and care by a qualified physician / GP, nor to encourage the treatment of illness by persons not recognisably qualified. 

If you use hypnosis and are under medical care for ANY condition, do not make any adjustments to ANY prescribed medication without the approval of your doctor. If in any doubt, you should seek your GP's advice. 

Please note that Mariann Sebestyen do not diagnose at all.

Caution: Epileptics are generally advised not to enter hypnosis or anyone diagnosed as having a psychotic illness. 

Please note that hypnosis alone is no guarantee of success. The client needs to want to change and be open and motivated to change, via the use of hypnosis. 

CANCELLATIONS

When you book your appointment, you are holding space on my calendar that is no longer available to other clients. To be respectful of your fellow clients, please let me informed as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment. There is a 48-hour cancellation policy. Notification must be made via email or phone call at least 48 hours prior to an online session. Clients can cancel or reschedule an appointment anytime, as long as they provide 48 hours' notice. 

Therapist’s Cancellations

Should it be necessary for Therapist/Practitioner to re-schedule a session, you will be notified at least 48 hours in advance, except in emergencies, and an attempt will be made to offer an alternative appointment time within the same week. If this is not possible, I offer the following appointment without a fee.

Refunds

No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of online sessions or fail to show up, you will be charged for the appointment the full fee.

If the cancellation is before the 48 hours notice in this circumstance, you will be fully refunded, and your appointment will be rescheduled at the earliest possible time.

Session fees are for my time and professional expertise and are not a guarantee of a successful outcome. Therefore, no refunds will be given for any sessions that you have attended and paid for the session.

Where a discount package or therapy program has been booked and paid for in advance, if you choose to discontinue your therapy process before attending all the sessions, a pro-rata refund will be issued after deduction of the full standard session fee for any sessions you have attended.

LATENESS

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your session, your appointment will be cancelled, and you will be charged the full fee. Hypnotherapy sessions are structured, and a delay of 10 minutes or more, does not allow enough time to complete a session.

CONFIDENTIALITY

All contact, including sessions, telephone conversations, video calls/ conversations and emails, will be conducted in confidence and may be recorded. Prior to any recording, your agreement will be sought. All recordings, conversations and notes will remain confidential, except in the following circumstances:

1.  Where you give permission for confidentiality to be broken

2. Where I am compelled by a court of law

3.  Where the information is of a nature that confidentiality cannot be maintained, for example:

•     The possibility of harm to yourself or others exists

•     In cases of fraud or crime

•     When minors (under 18 years old) are involved

Where a referring GP or other healthcare professional requires a report. A copy of the report will be available on request.

STANDARD OF BEHAVIOUR 

During the course of any therapy sessions, I will treat you with respect and not abuse the trust you place in me. I will use best practice at all times in our mutual interest. In return, you undertake not to harm yourself, or any other person, including me, or any property belonging to either me or any other person.

You agree not to attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, except those medications which have been prescribed by your doctor. If you do attend any sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, or demonstrate violent or abusive behaviour, I will cancel the session and may refuse to see you for any further sessions without refunding any payment already made.

PAYMENT METHOD

Payment is required to be made online before the session via credit/debit card, and invoice payment link via STRIPE™, but must be paid 48 hours before the scheduled session starts. The actual payment will be charged in British Pound. 

PURCHASES

You are encouraged to familiarise yourself with your rights contained within the Sale of Goods Act 1979, Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999.

If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service (“Purchase”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information.

You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct, and complete. You expressly agree that New Life Therapy – Hypnotherapy (New Day New Life Limited) is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from the submission of false or inaccurate information.

By submitting such information, you grant us the right to provide the information to third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of Purchases.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for certain reasons including but not limited to product or service availability, errors in the description or price of the product or service, error in your order or other reasons. You expressly agree that New Life Therapy – Hypnotherapy (New Day New Life Limited) cannot accept any liability for loss or damage arising out of such cancellation.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorised or illegal transaction is suspected.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 

All the service and its original content, features and functionality are also will remain the exclusive property of New Life Therapy – Hypnotherapy (New Day New Life Limited) and its licensors. The service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United Kingdom and foreign countries. Please be aware that our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of New Life Therapy – Hypnotherapy (New Day New Life Limited). ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

These Terms and Conditions governing the use of this service and the agreement made between you and the New Life Therapy – Hypnotherapy (New Day New Life Limited). These Terms and Conditions set out the right and obligation of all users regarding the use of this service. Your access to and use of this service conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to all the visitors, users, and others who access or use this service. 

By accessing or using our service, you agree to bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, then you may not access the service.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms and conditions and any other matters arising out of or in relation to these terms, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales (United Kingdom). You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any dispute which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions.

CHANGES

These terms and conditions are subject to revisions without notice. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the service.

TERMINATION

Once a client is accepted for treatment, we have an ethical responsibility to accompany the process to the end. Therapy comes to a completion naturally as an agreement between both parties. 

You are completely free to terminate a course of treatment at any time, although please be aware that results are rarely instantaneous and rely on your participation, commitment, and motivation as well as the therapy treatment itself. Termination of a treatment plan with appropriate notice at least two-week before finishing, allowing for the process of closure, will entitle you to a partial refund of unused sessions.

In exceptional cases where it becomes apparent that there is no progress, no commitment or participation on the part of the client, I may terminate the course of treatment. If the payment has been made in advance for any remaining sessions, then these will be refunded in full.

Clients that are abusive or that are deemed to be threatening will have their sessions terminated or treatment refused, and no refund will be given.
